The only difference is we are now only able to operate in the lower 48 states.
Most cars are in use. There are no long term cars available until September, 2024. As more and more folks hear about us, the more difficult it will be to get a car. Due to limited funds, we will only have 11 cars available to loan out. We are in the process of converting the fleet to all minivans. We currently have two sedans, one full size 8 passenger SUV, one 7 passenger minivan, and seven 8 passenger minivans. Please encourage your local church to provide vehicles for missionaries. If they have a missions house, please ask them to purchase a car to go with the house.
On March 18, 2022 AMI underwent a leadership change. That change will eliminate all benefits except the temporary ones of loaning cars to active missionaries and those returning from the field in transition to living in the USA. Please understand that any reference to permanent benefits are no longer available as of March 18, 2022. Also, we are transitioning to an all minivan fleet over the next few years. This will allow more flexibility in scheduling and availability
